When dairy co-op offers lassi to encourage voting

The Jharkhand State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited (JMF) and Medha Dairy’s Managing Director have urged maximum voter turnout via a video message, reports local media outlets.

Medha Dairy, active in public welfare, promotes voting through its milk booths and printed messages on milk packets. On May 25, 2024, voters in Ranchi with “electoral ink” can get free Medha Lassi at designated polling stations.

Medha Dairy, a Jharkhand Government undertaking, links rural milk producers with urban consumers, supporting about 50,000 farmers by processing 2.50 lakh liters of milk daily from seven plants.
