Pune based Janata Sahakari Bank Vice-Chairman Jagdish Laxmanrao Kadam had the luck to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi last week when he accompanied Maharashtra Bhushan awardee Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare.
Prime Minister had actually given time to the reputed novelist Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and Kadam was with the latter.
The social media handle of Janata Sahakari Bank lost no time in sharing photographs of their Vice Chairman with PM Narendra Modi and others and wrote “PM Narendra Modi recently met Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare. On the occasion Mr Jagdish Kadam, Vice Chairman of Janata Sahkari Bank was also present.
Soon after his meeting with veteran novelist Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare, PM Narendra Modi also shared some pictures of the meeting on social media and wrote “I had a great meeting with Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare, a wonderful personality whom I have had the honour of knowing for years”.
“Through his works, Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare has connected generations of youngsters with the exemplary life of Shivaji Maharaj”, PM Modi wrote in his next tweet.
Janata Sahakari Bank was established on 18th October 1949 and during the last financial year had the total deposit of Rs 8472.36 crore and a membership of 1,71,554. The Bank has earned a handsome profit of Rs 36 crore in the last FY.
