When a co-op dares set up five-star hotel

An event extraordinary is taking place in that a five-star hotel will soon come up in the cooperative sector in Wayanad in Kerala. This will be the first of its kind in the country, reports a news outlet.

Kerala Land Reforms and Development Cooperative Society (LADDER) is constructing the multi-crore project near Sultan Bathery in Waynad. This will cover an area of four acres and will be set up at a cost of Rs. 75 crore.

The hotel will stimulate tourism in Wayanad and the neighboring Karnataka. It will have special areas for business meetings.

 The hotel will be ready by early 2020.
