Anil Gadve has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Pune based Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank with his deputy Shreyas Rukari, who is the son of outgoing Chairman Sunil Rukari.
The elections of Chairman and Vice-Chairman were held on Monday under the direction of Anand Katke, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives.
“We are looking forward to taking our business to more than Rs 5k crore in a span of three years and we are sure that we will achieve this target. At present our business mix is around Rs 2600 crore”, said Gadve soon after becoming the Chairman of the bank.
Gadve owns a well-known firm Kaka Halwai while Shreyas Rukari is an architect.
