According to Chairman Raghavendra Rao, Vishakhapatnam cooperative urban bank would soon celebrate its hundredth year of existence.
The bank established way back in 1916 has 35 branches in about a dozen districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The bank intends expanding its operations across Tamil Nadu and Odisha transforming itself into a multi-state cooperative institution.
The bank has deposits and advances of Rs.1896 crore and Rs. 1260 crore respectively, Mr. Rao said.
