While addressing the Annual General Meeting of Zila Sahakari Bank, Lucknow last week, Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma said cooperative societies would be computerized on the lines of Cooperative Banks and DCCBs.
He further said cooperative banks would give loans at a low rate of interest to the farmers.
“Today in Lucknow, Attended the Annual General Meeting of Zila Sahakari Bank, Lucknow as the Chief Guest along with local BJP MLA Mr. Suresh Chandra Tiwari Ji, Mr Brij Bahadur Ji”, wrote Verma soon after the meeting on his social media handle.
Meanwhile, DCCB Chairman Dinesh Tiwari said villagers still had faith in cooperative banks.
