Maharashtra based Vasai Janata Sahakari Bank is organizing a gala event on 3rd November 2023 at Virar (Palghar) on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee, in which Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest.
Sharing the details with Indian Cooperative, the bank Chairman Mahesh Desai said, “The bank completed its 50 years of existence and is organizing a gala event on 3rd November 2023 to mark its 50th year of journey. In the period of one year, the bank organized many small and big events as a part of the celebrations”.
“We have received the consent of Honorable Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and all other preparations are in the final state. The bank was established somewhere in 1973 and has a network of 13 branches”, said Desai.
The bank has a business mix of more than Rs 1100 crore and earned a net profit to the tune of Rs 5.84 crore as on 31st March 2023. The bank is making efforts to achieve a business mix of more than Rs 1500 crore and to open new branches across Palghar district.
