The Gandhi scion and Member of Parliament from Sultanpur Varun Gandhi visited Amul at Anand in Gujarat and lauded the role being played by the dairy cooperative.
Varun also addressed the students of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).
Gandhi saw up close the dairy at work to know how the milk cooperative actually works. Taking a look at various processes and operations from collection to distribution of milk Varun was impressed by their efficiency.
Pleased with the leadership he later tweeted “From marginal farmers to its leadership, learnt a great deal witnessing the visionary miracle that is AMUL.”
