The Centre for Gender Studies organized a three day online Regional Level Workshop “Gender Budgeting and Inclusive Growth” under the aegis of Vaikunth Mehta Institute of Cooperative Management in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, says a press release.
The program was inaugurated by Smt. Chetna Sinha, Founder and Chairperson, Mann Deshi Bank and Mann Deshi Foundation and Dr K.K Tripathy, Director VAMNICOM. Participants hailing from diverse organisations took part in this workshop.
The workshop was held through sessions, talks and discussions. Ms. Ankita Bhatt Social and Gender Development Expert, Asian Development Bank, Shri A.N.Tripathy, Former Chief Conservator (Forest), Pune, Dr. A.K Singh, RCUES, Lucknow, Dr. Bhargava, Development Activist & National Consultant to NRLM, Prof. Vibhuti Patel Former Professor, TISS Mumbai and Gender Budgeting Expert and Shri Sachin Bhagat, Gender Budgeting Expert took part in these exercises.
Dr Manisha Paliwal, HoC Gender Studies was the Program Director. The program was coordinated by Prof. Anshu Singh, Assistant Professor, VAMNICOM and Saba Sayed, Research Officer, VAMNICOM.
