VAMNICOM is celebrating the 66th All India Cooperative week from 14th to 20th November 2019. The main theme of the week is “Role of Cooperatives in New India”, informs the press release issued by the organization.
On the occasion, Dr.K.K.Tripathy , Director , VAMNICOM welcomed the Chief Guest Subhashrao Ramchandra Joshi, Director ,Karad Urban Cooperative Bank and all the dignitaries present in the function. In his speech, Dr K.K.Tripathy recalled the contributions of Late Vaikunth Bhai Mehta who emphasized the role of cooperatives in the development of the country, specially the rural sector.
Subhashrao Ramchandra Joshi, hoisted the cooperative flag marking the beginning of the cooperative week in VAMNICOM.
Speaking at the event, Joshi said “Sanskar & Sahakar” are two crucial aspects for any organization to develop & succeed. He emphasized on the need of “Innovation in Rural Cooperatives.” He also called upon cooperatives to focus on marketing their value-added products.
Various sessions on the role of cooperatives in New India & competitions are arranged by VAMNICOM during this week.
