Vamnicom is celebrating its 57th Foundation Day on Monday, 15th January, 2024 at Shivneri Auditorium of the Institute in which Dilip Walse Patil, Maharashtra Minister of Cooperation, will be the Chief Guest. Dr. Meenesh Shah, Chairman NDDB and Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, Vice Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) have been invited as the Guests of honour of the Foundation Day function.
The VAMNICOM, Pune is a National Level Apex Co-operative Management Institute under the Ministry of Cooperation, Govt. of India. VAMNICOM has been significantly contributing to the cooperative movement through organizing management training, imparting management education, conducting research and consultancy projects in the areas of Cooperation and Rural Development.
The Institute understands the needs of the cooperative sector and delivers training programmes to sharpen the skills of Cooperative Executives and Officials. Institute is working continuously towards the dissemination initiative of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India. VAMNICOM enables the members of cooperatives, professionals and students to be competitive in the fast-changing environment.
In a press release the Institute says “VAMNICOM is committed to contribute to policy for cooperatives and facilitate building cadres of professional managers through Management Development Programmes (MDP), training, education, research & consultancy. VAMNICOM has adopted an inclusive and participatory approach by having partnership and MoUs with several Institutions and Universities. VAMNICOM aspires to be recognized as a Centre of Excellence for management education & training in the country’s cooperative sector.”
The Foundation Day will be celebrated in the presence of all dignitaries, Directors, Officials from Government, Educational Institutes and Industrial stalwarts. Along with the Registrar of VAMNICOM, Faculty Members, Staff, PGDM-ABM students, participants of training programme, Press & Media (print & Electronic) will grace the function.
