In a bid to develop an eco-friendly environment, the prestigious cooperative institution Vamnicom and MNGL (Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited) have signed an MOU for laying underground pipelines to facilitate supply of Natural Gas to housing complex with 61 quarters and two hostels and one executive guest house. The MoU was signed on Sunday at the Vamnicom Campus.
This move will ensure a smooth, hassle-free, cheaper and safe domestic cooking gas supply within the campus of the National Institute. On the auspicious occasion, Vamnicom director Dr K.K.Tripathy, Registrar V Sudhir and other officials and faculty members were present.
Dignitaries on the behalf of MNGL present include Supriyo Halder, MD, Santosh Sontakke, Director Commercial, Avinash Tripathi, DGM (P&P), Rahul Dhanorkar, Sr. Manager (P&P) and others.
On this occasion, Dr K K Tripathy and MNGL authorities were briefed about this new project by the faculty and staff members of Vamnicom.
This is one of the important steps to develop an eco-friendly environment at the institution. This move was appreciated by all team members of Vamnicom, Pune.
Earlier, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala inaugurated the newly built Students Hostel of Vamnicom. The newly built three storey hostel building, named as Students’ Hostel, is a Hostel with 50 rooms. This hostel has an accommodation capacity of 100 students.
