Uttarkashi District Central Cooperative Bank has recovered Rs 8.78 crore till now and its employees are travelling through trolleys for recovery from the villages.
According to the social media handle of Cooperative Department of Uttarakhand, “Employees and officers of the Uttarkashi District Co-operative Bank have launched a massive campaign for debt collection. On the instructions of the State Cooperative Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, this program is going on throughout the state.
The bank Chairman Vikram Singh Rawat and General Manager Suresh Napalchayal, have been helping with debt collection. The employees are risking their lives and going to villages by trolleys and asking people to clear their dues. This is public money, they keep emphasizing.
