Times of India news reports while taking part in an event at Doon University, Uttarakhand co-operative minister Dhan Singh Rawat announced that the state government would set up a “co-operative village “in each district of the state in the foreseeable future.
Following the evaluation of the pilot project, the state government would mull over the possibility of setting up a co-operative village in each district.
According to the minister, the formation of a co-operative village would ensure financial reimbursements to the villagers online through Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS).
