Uttarakhand State Cooperative Union has contributed Rs 11 lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief fund on Wednesday, while the employees have also contributed their one day’s salary to the CM relief fund.
On behalf of the Union, State Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has personally handed over the cheque to State Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. Union Chairman Brij Bhushan Garola and Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal were also present during the cheque giving ceremony.
The donated salaries of employees amount to Rs 2.58 lakh. The news was shared by the Cooperative Minister through social media.
Earlier, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank and District Central Cooperative Banks had jointly contributed Rs 1.21 crore towards the CM Relief fund.
