The computerization work of 670 PACCs of Uttarakhand will be completed in September and will jointly be inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami.
It was announced by the State Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat in a review meeting held recently at the Legislative assembly office.
“The inauguration will be done either at Pauri Garhwal or Almora. 20,000 women will participate in the inaugural program. We have also given instructions to the officers to make complete preparations for the launch of the scheme”, said the Minister.
In the meeting, Additional Registrar Smt. Ira Upreti informed that the work of computerization of PACS committees has been almost completed.
On the occasion, Cooperative Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Registrar Cooperative Societies Anand Swarup, Additional Registrar Anand Shukla, Deputy Registrar Neeraj Belwal, representatives from DCCBs banks and others were present.
