Uttarakhand Cooperative Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat visited the sprawling headquarters of the leading cooperative bank-Pune District Cooperative Bank. The Uttarakhand MP Naresh Bansal accompanied Rawat.
On this occasion, the bank Chairman Digambar Durgade extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation in the presence of the bank Vice-Chairman Sunil Chandere and others.
Durgade apprised the delegation of the financial performance of the bank and other activities being undertaken by the bank in the interest of farmers.
Sharing details through social media, parliamentarian Bansal wrote, “Got an opportunity to go with the cabinet minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat to the 105 year old district co-operative bank in Pune, Maharashtra. Had a meeting with the officials of the District Cooperative Bank and discussed matters related to the cooperative movement”.
The bank CEO Aniruddha Desai proposed a vote of thanks on this occasion.
Readers would recall that earlier, Rawat had visited the Solapur District Cooperative Bank and Ashwini Cooperative Hospital.
