The district central cooperative banks of Uttarakhand earned a net profit of around Rs 70 crore in the 2022-23 financial year, announced the state cooperation minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat.
He further added, these banks earned a gross profit of Rs 184 crore. Talking to bank officials, he instructed them to shift those branches to new locations, which are in loss and expedite the process of loan recovery.
It is learned that the highest net profit in 2022-23 has been earned by the Tehri DCCB i.e. 9.01 crore and lowest by Haridwar DCCB i.e. 2.28 crore.
