Uttarakhand Cooperative Secretary Purushottam Basava visited the Ajabpur Kalan, Dehradun Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (MPACS) on Monday and was impressed by their working style.
The society has been active since 1967 and currently holds more than 2400 active members with deposits of 48 crores.
Soon after visiting the office, Basava shared the details on social media and wrote, “Learned valuable lessons by looking at the records, balance sheets, and officers’ monitoring sheets during my visit. The Cooperative Movement really empowers people”.
“MPACS to learn and monitor the activities & operations of the society. Had a good interactive session with Departmental Officers, members of the society”, he further added.
