Parliament member Om Birla from Kota, Rajasthan recently raised the issue of shortage of urea in the state.
The member said farmers had been promised 2 lakh 68 thousand metric tonnes of urea by 12th November but the supply has not yet materialized.
Meanwhile the cooperation dept of the state has claimed enough amount of urea will soon be made available to farmers and the dept is already reviewing the availability of urea in the state together with fertiliser companies.
