The Yogi Adityanath, govt has approved the Atma Nirbhar Krishak Integrated Development Scheme in the state from 2021-22, reports PTI.
With the state assembly election getting closer, the move is considered significant, political observers say.
Under this scheme, 1,475 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) will be formed in the next three years in each development block of the state.
Utter Pradesh will spend Rs 1,220.92 crore for the implementation of the scheme from the financial year 2021-22 to 2031-32.
