Upholding the Uttar Pradesh government’s vision for transparency, efficiency, and digital governance, the Uttar Pradesh Sahkari Gram Vikas Bank has implemented the E-Office system on the occasion of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
The initiative was inaugurated by Anil Kumar Singh (IAS), Commissioner & Registrar, at the bank’s headquarters, in the presence of Managing Director Shashi Ranjan Kumar Rao, senior officials, and employees.
During the event, Anil Kumar Singh emphasized that the E-Office system will streamline processes, ensuring timely decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.
He reiterated that the initiative is in line with government directives to promote paperless administration and transparency in official functioning.
To commemorate the International Year of Cooperatives, the bank hosted a seminar on “The Role of Uttar Pradesh Sahkari Gram Vikas Bank in Rural Development.”
Addressing the gathering, Anil Kumar Singh praised the bank’s contributions to cooperative development and urged employees to work with dedication for institutional progress.
The discussions highlighted the bank’s contributions since 1959 in driving agricultural advancements and supporting rural livelihoods. Through affordable loan schemes for dairy farming, tailoring, and self-employment ventures, the bank has played a crucial role in empowering small and marginal farmers as well as women in rural areas.
