Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Minister JPS Rathore inaugurated 13 new branches of State Cooperative Bank on Monday at the headquarters of the bank located in Lucknow.
With the opening of these branches, the number of branches has increased to 40. The branches have been opened at Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Fatehpur, Hapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Kanpur Dehat, Auraiya, Kannauj, Gautam Budh Nagar, Sambhal, Jyotiba Phule Nagar and Mathura.
Addressing the gathering, Rathore said this year the number of branches will be increased to 50 and in five years we have set a target to achieve a figure of 100 branches.
Soon after the inauguration of branches, Rathore shared the photos and wrote, ” Inaugurated 13 new branches of Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Bank at its headquarters in Lucknow. Principal Secretary Shri BL Meena and officers and employees of the department were present on this occasion.
Cooperative Secretary BL Meena (IAS), Chairman Teejveer Singh, Managing Director V K Mishra, and others were present on the occasion.
UP State Cooperative Bank has a total business mix of more than Rs 15k crore.
