Uttar Pradesh government will put in its best efforts to double agricultural exports by 2024, reports a news outlet.
The Yogi govt took the decision in a cabinet meeting held recently.
A source said the government will purchase 50 lakh metric tonnes of paddy under the Paddy Purchase Policy.
A handout issued by the govt said the cabinet also sanctioned Rs 3,221.63 crore cash credit from cooperative banks to 23 cooperative sugar mills of the state for the year 2019-20.
