PTI reports Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari found 90 percent of the staff absent when he visited the headquarters of the cooperative department without an advance notice.
The surprise inspection confirmed that there was no discipline and sense of responsibility among the employees. The chief secretary said disciplinary action would be taken against the erring employees.
It is worth mentioning that UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has asked top officials to undertake such sudden visits to all govt offices. Earlier, we reported about the leaks of the results of co-op exams beforehand.
