RBI’s Jammu Department of Co-operative Bank Supervision (DCBS) held a meeting of its task Force on unlicensed District Central Co-operative Banks in J &K, reports local media.
Regional Director, RBI Jammu and Kashmir, presided over the meeting.
A large number of top functionaries of cooperative institutions including Secretary, J&K Cooperative and Tribal Affairs Department and NABARD, attended the meeting.
RBI officials underlined the importance of the Task Force in tackling the challenges facing the rural cooperative banking sector.
