Kerala govt has asked the Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society to execute the project of digitizing the state legislature’s documents and records.
While the project is likely to cost around 40 crore, it will help the legislature save about 35-49 crore annually, reports Indian Express. Sources say the project will be completed in two years.
The state assembly handles countless committee reports, bills, notices, and various other reports but the project, say functionaries associated with the assembly, will allow the house to go completely paperless.
