Sahakar Bharati President Jyotindrabhai Mehta has ruled out participation in a proposed coordination meeting called by RSS in which its several affiliates are participating. The 3 day meeting is beginning in Ujjain from today.
“I do not know from where did this news come; we are not participating”, Mehta said categorically.
Mehta, however conceded that Sahakar Bharati did participate in the similar meeting in Delhi in which besides Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley took part.
Besides Mehta, Uday Joshi and Organizing Secretary of Sahakar Bharati participated. Sahakar Bharati argued strongly for according high value to the cooperative movement and said the road to development of rural India passes though cooperatives.
Regarding Ujjain meeting PTI says those participating in the meeting include RSS bodies like Sahakar Bharati, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, Laghu Udyog Bharti and of course its political wing BJP which is likely to be represented by senior leaders like Amit Shah.
