The Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh has suspended the board of Ujjain Jila Kendriya Sahakari Bank and appointed an administrator.
However, soon after the suspension, congress leaders have begun jostling for a place on the board.
The government has appointed Deputy Cooperative Registrar O.P.Gupta as the administrator in the bank.
Kishan Singh Bhatol was the Chairman of the Bank.
The boards of 37 DCCBs have been suspended but Ujjain’s DCCB has also been axed even though its tenure was to end after three months.
