MP Lokayukt police raided the residence of senior audit inspector of the cooperative department in Ujjain in the raid lasting long nine hours.
The audit inspector was found having Rs 10 lakh in cash, three story building, one flat, 5 plots of land, 10 kg silver and 210-gram gold.
The house in which the senior auditor presently lives is priced at Rs 1 crore. The accused also has documents for 13 lakhs in fixed deposits.
It has also come to light that the accused had not drawn his salary for the last 5 months.
He also owns several other things that add to his wealth. A source says he has been working in Ujjain for long seven years. Further investigation is underway.
