Yogendra Singh Rawat has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Uttarakhand based Udhamsingh Nagar District Central Cooperative Bank till the next elections of the board of directors, in an election held on Tuesday at the bank’s headquarters.
It bears recall that after the death of former Chairman Late Narendra Singh Manas in September last year, Rawat had been made the officiating Chairman but now the board has made him the regular Chairman.
The election process was held under the supervision of Pratush Singh, Deputy District Magistrate. Soon after the election, Rawat was profusely garlanded by his supporters. He thanked them all.
On the occasion, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank Chairman Dan Singh Rawat, Uttarakhand Pradeshik Cooperative Union (PCU) Ram Mehrotra, and others were present.
Readers would recall that the bank earned a net profit of Rs 7.05 crore in the 2020-21 FY.
