The Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank (TSCAB) has been in the national news since it has executed the speedy computerization of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACs) in the entire state, reports Telangana Today
So much so that prime minister Narendra Modi referred to Telangana’s remarkable success while opening the webinar on SMART agriculture in New Delhi recently.
During the session on ‘Sahakaritha se Samridhi’ (from cooperation to prosperity) in the webinar, Telangana officials were given an opportunity to explain the computerization of the cooperative sector in the state.
According to officials, there were as many as 798 PACs in Telangana affiliated to DCCBs and 108 with commercial banks.
