Buoyed up by the success of its Nano Urea liquid, the world largest fertilizer cooperative IFFCO is moving ahead towards the production of Nano DAP.
Presently, the trials of IFFCO Nano DAP are going on in different parts of the country. The farmers of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan are using Nano DAP on wheat crops.
Sharing the details on social media, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote, “Farmers now using #IFFCONanoDAP for trials in their crops. Such a trial is taking place in a farm in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan on Barley crop. #NanoDAPTrials”.
It is said that the plant will be set up at the cost of Rs 250 crore at IFFCO’s Kalo Unit in Gujarat and it will be fully automatic. It can produce 150 half liter bottles in a minute. And from 31 July 2023, production of Nano DAP would start in this plant.
