Anti-corruption police arrested President of Natrampalli primary agricultural cooperative bank(PACB) in Tamil Nadu for demanding and accepting a bribe from a farmer for a loan, reports Hindu.
Police officials say the president of the PACB, had initially demanded a bribe of Rs. 6,000 to release a crop loan of Rs. 60,000.
The president finally settled for a bribe of Rs 5,000.
Rubbed up the wrong way, the farmer lodged a complaint with the police and thus the PACB head was caught red handed accepting the bribe.
