A judicial court in Villupuram in Tamil Nadu has sentenced a former secretary of the Primary Agricultural Commercial Cooperative Society (PACCS) in Kudhiraichandal near Villupuram to 15 years jail for defrauding the society of Rs 3.53 lakh, reports Times of India.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 30,000 on the accused. The accused had been charged with falsification of documents.
The Commercial Cooperative Investigation Wing (CCIW) had registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the Thirukovilur deputy registrar.
