The nomination filed by an AIADMK functionary for the election of chairman and vice-chairman of Tirunelveli District Milk Producers’ Cooperative Societies Union has been cancelled after their nominations were found to be invalid, reports The Hindu.
After he was declared elected to the post of chairman of the union, AIADMK functionary Chinnadurai of Thoothukudi assumed office recently in the presence of Ministers ‘Kadambur’ C. Raju and V.M. Rajalakshmi, MPs and Tamil Nadu Government’s Special Representative to New Delhi N. Thalavai Sundaram.
