Inaugurating a two-day celebration of Tirupati cooperative bank, AP minister for Agriculture and Co-operation K Kannababu said the bank created history by completing 102 years of successful existence and competing with nationalized banks by offering a wide range of services to its customers.
The minister also hailed the new union budget for giving priority to the farming sector on the occasion.
The bank has 1.2 lakh share-holders and a business turnover of Rs 400 crore. This is the biggest bank in Tirupati.
