Pioneer reports MP minister of cooperatives Govind Singh said the three tier cooperative system in the state will be continued so as to ensure facilities for the villagers. He was inaugurating a seminar on ‘Innovation through Rural Cooperatives’ at Sahakari Bhawan under the 66th Cooperatives Week.
The minister said all possible steps would be taken to reactivate defunct cooperative bodies in the state. Several top cooperative officials including the Nabard general manager attended the program.
Presiding over the seminar, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Sachin Yadav underlined the importance of cooperatives in the prosperity of subsistence farmers.
