On the heels of launching a branch in Bengaluru, Thane Janata Sahakari Bank (TJSB) has opened its 131st Branch in Thane. It was inaugurated by Chairman C.Nandagopal Menon and the 132nd Branch in Karad was inaugurated by the Bank’s Director Vinod Kumar Bansal in Maharashtra.
It bears recall that TJSB has established its 130th branch in Indiranagar, Bengaluru which is the 3rd branch in Bengaluru and the 6th in Karnataka.
The social media handle of TJSB shared the details with photographs and with the caption “On 2nd September our 131st Branch was inaugurated at Ram maruti Road , #Thane. Our chairman Shri C Nandagopal Menon, Vice chairman Shri Vivek Manohar Patki, Director Shri Vidyadhar Achyut Vaishampayan and MD-CEO Shri Sunil Prabhakar Sathe and other esteemed members of the board were present for the ceremony”.

The Bank is expected to reach a total number of 138 branches by the end of the financial year 2017- 2018, its strong capital base being the premise of its network expansion. The Bank has also obtained permission to expand its operations in Madhya Pradesh and is soon likely to set up its first branch in the city of Indore.”
In the financial year 2016-17, TJSB Bank earned a net profit of Rs 102 crore, successfully achieving this success for the third consecutive year, with the business mix of TJSB witnessing a growth of 11.42% in the F.Y 16-17 in spite of sluggish economic conditions, demonetization and global events having an adverse effect on loans and advances.
