The scheme aims to bring tens of thousands of farmers into cooperative groups. Through the scheme, the govt would provide farmers with the most modern technological assistance and thus try to make their farming a profit earning proposition.
A total amount of Rs 264 crore is likely to be spent on the program. For starters, the program will be tried in 150 mandals covering nearly 3 thousand villages across the state.
The govt has already begun making necessary preparation for carrying out the experiment.
