Telangana’s Medak District Credit Co-operative Bank’s chairman C Devendar Reddy has called for immediate computerization of Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS), reports Hans India. Several top cooperative functionaries attended the meeting.
Reddy was holding a review meeting at Medak Collectorate where he said computerization is needed to maintain transparency in writing, generating the audits reports and digitalization of voters list of co-operative society members in all the PACS working in the districts.
PACS are the banks situated in rural area and plays an important role in rural credit system by performing their activities on co-operative principles and also these banks are worked under the District Credit Co-operative Banks.
