Telangana Today reports a show-cause notice has been sent to Bejjur Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society chairman Arshad Hussain for defrauding the society of Rs 27.77 lakh by being hand in glove with the secretary of the society.
The notice has asked Arshad Hussain to explain as to why no action was taken against him for the misappropriation of funds.
In the event of him not explaining the irregularity, he would lose his post and cease to be an executive council member. An inquiry carried out by the coop dept has established his crime.
