Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh was one of the first to greet Surendra Prasad on becoming the new cooperative minister of Bihar. Prasad is from RJD. Biscomaun Chairman is also an MLC from the RJD.
Soon after the greeting ceremony, he shared the photographs on social media. Earlier, Sunil was also touted to be sworn in as a minister but Bihar is a state where caste matters more than competence, said one of Sunil’s associates adding there were senior Rajput leaders in the party who got a chance despite Sunil being associated with co-op and farming for many decades.
It bears recall that in the Bihar cabinet expansion, seven times elected member of State Legislative Assembly member Surendra Prasad, has been given the cooperation ministry of the state. He took the oath on Tuesday.
Yadav is the MLA from Belaganj, Gaya constituency and a close associate of Laloo Prasad Yadav. He has been MLA from Janata Dal for 2 times and RJD for 5 times.
In the oath taking ceremony held on Tuesday at Raj Bhawan, 31 ministers took oath from various parties that are part of Mahagathbandhan or the Grand Alliance, including the Congress.
