The newly elected MLC and Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh was appointed Treasurer of Rashtriya Janata Dal last week, underlining his importance in the party.
As soon as his name was announced, cooperative leaders across the country started congratulating him for his new appointment.
Singh wrote on Facebook, “I have been nominated to the position of Treasurer by the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Sunil thanked RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and Jagadanand Singh for the confidence reposed in him on social media.
Readers would recall that earlier National Cooperative Union of India President and Rajya Sabha Member Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav had also been given the responsibility of National Treasurer by the Samajwadi Party.
