Sumul Dairy proudly celebrated World Water Day, emphasizing the importance of water conservation and sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting.
As part of the celebrations, the Sumul Water Harvesting Scheme was inaugurated at multiple locations to promote responsible water management among Dairy Cooperative Societies (DCS).
The scheme was officially launched at Ukhalda DCS (Songadh) by Mansinghbhai Patel (Chairman, Sumul Dairy) and Kantibhai Gamit (Board Director, Songadh), while Kasal & Unteva DCS (Mandvi) witnessed the inauguration by Resabhai Chaudhary (Board Director, Mandvi).
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including key officials from Sumul Dairy and the Irrigation Department, such as R.C. Patel (Head, Cooperative Development, Sumul Dairy), V.R. Patel (Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, Surat), and Rahul Vasava (Deputy Engineer, Irrigation Department).

The initiative received an overwhelming response, with over 120 Dairy Cooperative Societies (DCS) actively participating. Leaders at the event underscored the critical role of water conservation in maintaining sustainable dairy farming and fostering rural development.
