Karnataka based Sree Subramanyeswara Cooperative (SUBCO) Bank celebrated its golden jubilee at Bengaluru on Sunday last week, in which State Governor Thawarchand Gehlot, Nafcub Chairman Emeritus and Karnataka Minister HK Patil and others were present.
The bank, which was established in 1971, has completed its 50 years of existence. The bank received the license from the RBI in 1986.
The SUBCO Bank has its humble beginning with 240 members and maintained steady growth from year to year and increased the members to 37,000.
The bank has a business mix of more than Rs 600 crore.
