A Punjab official in Faridkot district said the state agriculture department has offered 28 thousand agro-machines to farmers on subsidy to ensure a “zero stubble-burning in the state under the first phase of management of paddy residue, reports Tribune News Service.
It is worth a special mention that the state govt. gives 80 percent subsidy on these machines given to cooperative societies and farmer groups.
