A news outlet reports the cooperative dept in Punjab was helping farmers with machines on subsidy through cooperative bodies in villages to stop burning of paddy stable.
The Punjab cooperative minister said this while attending a function of a cooperative society in Bhinder Kalan.
The minister said the govt. would take steps to bring all ailing cooperative bodies on the path of progress.
Several govt. officials including cooperative functionaries were present on the occasion.
