Hindustan Times reports meetings of SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav and Aparna Yadav Mulayam Singh Yadav’s younger daughter with Yogi Adityanath have caused a flurry of speculation in the political circles in Uttar Pradesh.
Shivpal, who is SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s brother, met the CM accompanied by his son Aditya Yadav. Aditya Yadav is Chairman of Pradeshik Cooperative Federations.
Earlier Aparna Yadav had called on Adityanath and invited him to visit a shelter for stray animals being run by her in Lucknow. The CM accepted her invite and visited ‘Kanha Upvan’ a couple of days later.
Sources say as the majority of cooperative bodies are controlled by Shiv Pal and his associates this meeting may be aimed at easing the relationship with new CM.
