Citizens’ Cooperative Bank has made a profit of Rs. 2.86 lakh in 2020-21 through excellent recoveries and reduced NPAs, media reports say.
The bank was able to recover Rs 685.81 lakh in NPA accounts, out of which recovery of Rs 273.26 lakh was made in March.
Despite difficulties caused by COVID-19, the bank ‘s finances improved. However, the bank is still facing the problem of increased NPAs.
It is said the specific focus on recovery portfolio played an important role in improving the financial background of the bank.
